Natural cures needed for hand tremors

Posted By George (Yucca, AZ) on 03/14/2009

Hand Tremors: I have always had 'corrugations' in my handwriting, but recently I have actually developed hand tremors whem I try to write. This makes it very difficult to fill out job applications. I am currently trying GABA and some other supplements, but I look like I have Parkinsons (no tremors at rest, though). Looking for ideas!

Hi George. I just read on Dr. Weil's site about intravenous Glutathione for Parkinsons... http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/QAA400534/A-New-Approach-to-Parkinsons.html

Also, low dose Naltrexone... I haven't tried either, but both look promising.

Dear George: My father has Parkinsons and mouth and hand tremors. The tremors subside with magnesium and taurine almost all the time. Also note the taurine promotes sleep for him. We use fairly high doses of magnesium such as approxiamtly 800mg of magnesium citrate three times daily. It seems that taurine is necessary and the dose may be equal to the magnesium dose for my father. We are still working out the correct dose and you may not need such a high amount. It may be that the taurine dose should be a little higher than the magnesium dose and the magnesium dose less than 800mg three times daily. I just know that after taking the magnesiums together with the taurine after about an hour or less the tremors stop. Jane

My mother is afraid she has parkinsons and the doctors are very insistent that she does (without having even tested her) I really want to know about MD for parkinsons specifically. She takes heart medication for hyper tension metoprolol and cannot have potassium. I'm at a total loss here please help. Thank you

EC: Dear Xotzin, kindly clarify what remedy you mean by "MD"?

Dear Xotzin, thank you for thinking I am an enlightened knowledgable wise man. I am very flattered. Every body else thinks I am stupid. Even I think I am stupid. I am so stupid I forgot to clean my refridgerator for the annual inspection and flunked. Fortunately for me I passed the reinspection or I would have been homeless again. I prefer to communicate on the wonderfully fabulous earth clinic site. I was poisoned by toxic fumes and have a hard time functioning socially. The sooner your mother starts eating the best foods the right way and stops taking synthetic meds from big pharma the sooner she can get well. God's goodies are very potent. For inspiration watch raw vegan 80/10/10 videos on youtube. I am 90% raw organic vegan and 10% raw grass fed and wildcrafted animal products. I take the superfoods for many good reasons. Raw vegan costs 1 cent per calorie. Superfoods cost 1 cent per 3 calories. I am a poor man. I am not able to afford raw vegan. Going to the natural grocery store everyday, buying bulky produce, preperation and clean up can be time consuming. The blenders and juicers are noisy. The superfoods are shipped. They are as easy as drinking koolaid. Scoop some in a cup, add some sucanet and water, stir, and drink up. Please reply back so we can communicate more. Thank you.

Mike, I'm in SE Denver so it's nice to know you're near by at least. Yes she's been taking methylene blue and it seems to have been of some benefit for sure. Talking her into a vegan diet is a chore though. She's been cleaning up her diet and each time she makes an effort to cut something unhealthy out she sees something good happen. It's a scary thing to read the accounts from the AMA about people suffering from PD. She refuses to take the pharmaceuticals from her doctor who immediately decided to put her on ldopa and other things, she watched my father get so sick from those meds she's not willing to subject herself to them thankfully. I'm not sure what else to do for her and that leaves me feeling kind of sick inside. I'm sure you all relate.
