Seeking Help for Canine With Aspergillosis

Posted By Annasmolin (Port Hueneme) on 02/12/2016

I would like to know if there is anything I can do to help my dog with aspergillosis caused from being exposed to mold?
EC: Hi Annasmolin,

So sorry, we don't have a page for aspergillosis in dogs so we're posting your question to the aspergillosis page for people instead.

I have a male German shepherd dog with aspergillosis, 11 years old. My dog was diagnosed with it at the end of September 2015 after having all the tests and xrays he had his nose scraped out and that only made things worse. The anti-fungal drugs given to him after the operation nearly finished him off altogether, the stench caused by the drugs was unbearable, it reeked throughout the whole house, it was on me and everything he touched. He was going down hill fast so I withdrew him from the anti-fungals and immediately gave him coffee enemas to get rid of the poisonous drug. The initial step I took was to syringe 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide 5ml up each nostril, given with a plastic syringe, the type used to give babies medicine which can be bought for about £1 from any chemist. This gave him immediate relief from the mucus which is like thick elastic bands and impossible to move, my dog was then able to put his head down, breath and sleep, which he hadn't been able to do in weeks. I kept this up for about 6 weeks while continually searching everywhere for a cure. There is very little information out there and I am still looking for a complete cure. I now also use a Pari Turbo-Boy SX electric nebuliser and nebulise him with nascent iodine, which is very good and gets the mucus flowing down his nose very fast. I put 6 drops of iodine into 6ml of distilled water. I also use ionic or colloidal silver and occasionally hydrogen peroxide in the nebuliser, and also still give him regular coffee enemas, it must be organic coffee light or medium roast. To keep his nose moist I use the organic Snout Soother Cream from ebay which is excellent. I also back his immune system up with supplements, B17, Q10, folic acid, chlorella, spirulina, and tissue salts. He is a big boy and weighs 8 stone, to look at him you would never know anything was wrong with him, in the woods he runs, plays and jumps about and that's what is so heart breaking about it. His life is in my hands every day, because without the treatments I give him he goes down hill, so I am still looking for a permanent cure. when I got him he was a tiny baby, too young to be taken away from his mother, but his mother had no milk and wasn't feeding him and they were feeding him on powdered sheep's milk so I took him. I have always cooked all his meals myself from day one including fresh green veg, but I suspect never having his mothers milk has effected his immune system. So if anyone has any suggestions on how this terrible disease can be permanently cured I would be very grateful for any help.

With love and healing wishes, Janet.

Have you tried giving him colloidal silver, orally? Praying for you and your dog.

Janet: One item I have found to be very beneficial for my pets is Milled Flax Seed. MFS is a gentle yet effective colon cleaner for pets & humans. One spoon is a good amount for humans which would be used at least once per wk, so proly half spoon every day for a short time or until better for your dog. MFS has a pleasant taste and goes well with most foods.

About the fungal infection. Do note that fungal infections are almost always co-infections or opportunistic infections, that is they thrive only if there are other infections or, especially in the case of pets, parasitism. It is very important that a complete deworming done once per yr. Do you have Veterinarian do this or do you??

It is not clear if you are using Colloidal Silver or H2O2 only topically or also internally. For best results do both topical & internal.

One more powerful ally in keeping infections at bay in pets & humans is Zapping. Speaking of energy medicine, another item which is very beneficial for humans & pets is the use of Magnets or Magnetic Therapy. Magnets remove bad energy from injury, and inflammation from infections. A Magnet Pet Pad (found online stores) should restore sleep and more. Apply a magnet on the affected area and fallow with local zapping with a Don Croft Zapper. This kills the pathogens on contact.
