Myomectomy and now have abdominal adhesions

Posted By Cynthia (Toronto, CA) on 08/05/2014

I had a myomectomy over a year ago, then developed severe pain in my lower left pelvic area. I was basically fluffed away by my gynecologist who did the surgery, until a year later when he said I may have adhesions. I then did a colonoscopy, and it shows I had a tortuous sigmoid, which I concluded was a result of the adhesions causing the twisting and pulling. The GI doctor also fluffed me off, and so I have to keep looking for a solution. I know for sure that it's the adhesions causing my colon to twist at the sigmoid area, as this is where the most severe pain is.... And I am now unable to go to the bathroom, and am constantly constipated. I will do1 hour of the castor oil treatment with heating pad daily and hope to God my adhesions will soften and ease the pain, and eventually release away from my colon at the sigmoid area. Wish me luck, I can't sleep from such severe pain, and it has greatly interfered with my life.

Thank you, Cynthia

Hi Cynthia – I’m wondering if serrapeptase might help with your adhesions. Here is a link with some information. While they sell it on that site, I’ve been able to buy serrapeptase from the health food store (different brand, but it was effective). It resolved the internal scar tissue I had from a foot injury. Your problem is much more complex but it may be worth pursuing.

If you do a search here on Earth Clinic (top right corner), you will find how serrapeptase and other enzymes helped with fibroids, etc.

It’s maddening when doctors don’t take you seriously. Congratulations on taking charge – I’m sure you will find the right solution. Take care, Bess
