In Myasthenia Gravis (MG), vitamin D level (25 (OH) d) is usually lower than healthy controls and should be brought well into the reference range of 30~100 ng/ml.
The use of high quality probiotics, synbiotics and fermented foods have shown benefit in MG by helping to improve the gut microbiome to a less inflammatory balance of gut bacteria.
