My daughter has facial dermatitis

Posted By Kim (Belgrade, Montana, Usa) on 10/06/2010

Hi, my daughter has dermatitis on the face and we have tried everything her Doctor recommended and her dermatologist prescribed for her. It's not working, and it is coming back even stronger. How can we help her that is safe and won't burn, scar her face?
Thanks, Kim

Before you try more cures, see if eliminating something can help. For years I had redness around my nose. I twice had perioral dermatitis for a while. Over the last year I removed all processed foods completely. I only eat foods I make from scratch. I don't touch margarine or vegetable oils (except olive). I eat very little wheat, and what I do eat is sourdough bakery bread, which is much healthier. Not the "healthy" bread you get in supermarkets. I started taking a tsp. of apple cider vinegar in water once a day and I oil pull once a day, thanks to information I read on earth clinic. I can't tell you what caused the redness to go away, but it's gone, and so are my blackheads. My skin is generally better. I ascribe the change to not ingesting chemicals with my food, but I can't be sure. Hope that helps!

I had dermatitis for many years. I already posted how I am 3 years free from it. My face was already hooked on corticoides creams. And still it worked. I am thinking your doughtier is a baby and probably you will have to find the way to treat her with no pain. I applied every night ACV with the mother and then seal it with aloe Vera. It was painful. If she scratches her face, because it stings you will need to work on that first. After stumbling in earth clinic. I started to drink it. Like they advice and I noticed a change in all the skin from the scalp to the toes. My skin is soft like when you apply expensive creams. No more dandruff, arm pit smells or feet smells. I don't use deodorant or special shampoos any more, no creams. Milk of magnesia is a very good deodorant. It will hurt only in the beginning, I think after a week, no more pain. I hope you can find the cure in here. I never could find it with all the creams I use during more than 10 years.

Hi - have you tried Manuka honey? Keep it on for hours (day and night, if possible.)
