Re: CHF, fluid around heart

My mother has hardening of a heart muscle due to cardiomyopathy. She is 81. On her bad days she bas bloating and fluid retention without edema. ACV is not an option because her blood pressure drops too low. Peppermint tea helps a little with the bloating. Right now they give her lasix to decrease the fluid, but it too drops her bp too low. TIA for any help you can provide.

There is a specific cardiomyopathy due directly from Selenium deficiency. If this be the case, supplementing 200mcg Selenium 2x day along w/ Vit-E Mixed Natural Tocopherols and/or Tocotreinols, plus CoQ10 100-200 mg. L-Carnitine is also very good for strengthening the heart and will work very well w/ the aforementioned protocol.

Magnesium is also very important for any muscle issues especially the heart. You can supplement Mag tablets orally or take a very warm footbath w/ a few spoons of Epsom Salts 1x day (preferably prior to retiring).
