Hello please help..

My mom is 66 and she has had reflux and digestion issues for few years. She takes a prescription medication before each meal. But recently she has had severe constipation and feeling the reflux and food stuck in her esophagus.

Dear Jenny,

I am so sorry about your mom digestive troubles.

There are so many things that could be tried. But to start it might be helpful to know what her diet is currently like and if she is on any medications. Those two things will have a big effect on these issues. Also, does she have any other health issues?

Hi Jenny...If you want to know and understand why PPI's are bad for you -- read this:

Heartburn, Reflux(GERD) and Acid Blocker Drugs

The problem that your mother has is not too much stomach acid but too little stomach acid. So taking PPI's(acid blocking) is exactly the wrong therapy and will make your mother's condition worse.

To help you understand and help cure your mother's condition just follow this protocol:

The GERD Protocol
