Looking for new approach for son with epilepsy

Posted By Karina (Nj, US) on 01/07/2015

Hi,

I'm in NJ and it's tough. I'm looking for a Dr.who can help my son with his epilepsy meds and other approaches. Seems they want him drugged up and that is causing him to be delayed.

You can try these two safe & effective supplements (Taurine & Chinese Skullcap) which taken together, will likely help the E condition and if so you can gradually reduce the pharmaceutical meds. Many folks here on E.C. suffer the same fate of "overmedication". Taurine & Chinese Skullcap can be found at health-food stores. Oh, I forgot to mentioned yet another good natural food supplement that helps cognitive disorders ---Coconut Oil (available in grocer).

If these natural remedies do not work, you should seek a physician that prescribes Medical Marijuana. If you have no luck in this endeavor, you can purchase legal, non-psychoactive Hemp Oil/CBD from online retailer's like EBay or Amazon and start w/ small amounts of a few drops and slowly work up to one or two dropper once or twice a day.

I would also recommend extensive diagnostics to rule out any serious causative factors like heavy metal poisoning, cystercosis, or accidental blunt injury.
