My husband has cirrhosis of the liver as well as a very enlarged spleen from drinking..he drinks beer..he was told three years ago that he had less that a year to live...at that time he was hospitalized because his face swelled up like a blow fish and his bp was very very high..he was put on bp meds and released a week later..after researching the net I got him on natural product artichoke and milk thistle which he has taken faithfully till today..just recently he has been having his face swell again...he takes reactine to releive the swelling...it works but takes two to three days...and he sleeps as he doesn't feel well..I would like to know what is bht? I would like him to try it to see if it makes him feel better..thanks

He may want to consider doing liver/gallbladder flushes. They could save his life. I have also very successflully used coffee enemas to relieve toxic liver issues and it works very quickly. Once the liver gets clogged it causes a whole series of health issues so it would be to his advantage to investigate this fully and start cleansing. There is a ton of info right here on Earthclinic and google as well. Hopefully it will be ok to post this link on coffee enemas from Dr Wilson as he is the authority on this subject:

Dora, the hardest part, and most crucial, is removing the cause of his suffering....easier said than done, I know....
