Liver damage due to antimitochondrial antibodies ama

Liver damage due to Antimitochondrial Antibodies (AMA). Liver enzymes including Alk phos elevated for just over a year. Seeing hep specialist. Seems to be autoimmune.

Had a fibroscan done last week. Possible scarring. He wants to do biopsy. Not I!! Taking lots of supplements. Not ALA, selelnium. Do not want to go traditional treatment at this time. His recommendation of ursodial concerns me. 2 pages of side effects, lots of bad ingredients. Most posts/articles I read seem to address Hep A, B, C and NAFL, not autoimmune. I have no obvious symptoms at this time. Should there be a difference in treatment?

There are a number of different liver remedies with individual focus. It is best to rotate these differing treatments for full effect.
