Lichen Sclerosus on Penis Foreskin

Lichen Sclerosus on Penis foreskin.

Hi, since the age of 16 (when still a virgin) I have had white spots on my penis foreskin, I have a tight foreskin that does not retract and am uncircumcised. This does not affect erections, masturbation or ejaculation in any way.

I have never been able to identify what they were, I have always assumed to be a form of thrush. Even a visit to STI clinic gave the diagnosis as thrush after a very cursory examination.

No amount of thrush treatments have every made any difference, the white spots did clear up by themselves from age 20 to 30, for no obvious reason. But they returned again for no obvious reason and have been present ever since, now at the age of 55, I suspect that it might be Lichen Sclerosus having looked at the various pictures online.

The small white areas forms a hard crust, which can be scrapped of, I have spent many years scrapping the skin hoping to remove the problem, with no real success.

It seems from reading this page that there is no real treatment, the white areas do not give me an discomfort or itching, but have always been unsightly making my penis look unhygienic.

The level and visibility of the white spots has varied a lot, but is now as bad as they have every been, I am not sure how common this is for men or what to try next, if there is indeed anything.

I noted the comments about Oxadates, but do not really eat the foods listed as high in any great quantities apart from tea and orange juice.

If anybody has any experience of this on penis foreskin, I would love to hear from you.

Vitamin E oil has been used with great success, as have Psorclear OTC supplement (Amazon) and zinc oxide powder (Amazon). A cream called Scar-Zone (Amazon) is said to have eliminated the white spots.

Other: Ticklebelly LS Relief (https://ticklebellysoap.com/products/lichen-sclerosus-relief); Topical tacrolimus 0.1% ointment. Good luck.
