Is there a link between exercise and perioral dermatitis

Is there a link between exercise and perioral dermatits? I've had two flare ups in the last year. Both times these flare ups happened after I started walking again (2-3 miles a day). I shower, or at least wash my face immediately after my walks. And I do them first thing in the morning, so no makeup at all.

The first time I treated it topically using a tea made from red cedar boughs, I received from a naturopath.

This time I don't have access to red cedar boughs (I now live in HI). But I will try the green tea because that I have a ton of at home.

I should add that I suffer from adrenal fatigue and Grave's disease. I wonder if walking spiked my cortisol, which may have caused the outbreak??
