Is There a Connection Between Grover's Disease and Perimenopause?

Posted By Katie (Richmond ) on 02/26/2016

Hi, I was recently diagnosed with Grover's. I am a 46 year old female in perimenopause. Has anyone else linked this skin condition to going through menopause. Right now I am just putting a lot of lotion on and keeping it moist and it is helping. The dermatologist thought it was Folliculitis at first and the treat for that made it flare and go crazy. I have it all over my back and sometimes it appears on my chest and arms and legs (but the back is the worst).

I have read that some people with Grover's have cancer or some underlying condition is there anyone out there that has it that is healthy otherwise? I have very fair skin and red hair and freckles and I am an athlete so I sweat a lot.
