Is Rash On My Face Psoriasis or Dermatitis?

Posted By Brian (Fl) on 12/04/2015

I have psoriasis for a long time already but I recently had some outbreak on my face. It doesn't look like my psoriasis and my doctor said dermatitis from lack of sleep. Could this be accurate and what are your recommendations for treatment?

B: "Psoriasis" & "lack of sleep" are both side effects of Liver Disease. I had Primary Bilary Cirrhosis for several yrs and suffered these symptoms.

Brian, The first go to remedy for skin and eye issues, in my house. Saturated Borax water. I have a container made up always to treat skin issues. 1/3 cup borax dissolved in 1 liter of clean or bottled water for an hour or so allows the borax to be taken up into the water and it becomes saturated. You can either strain out excess grains or leave them in the bottom. Saturate a clean cloth with this water and place on area for a few minutes and repeat. should start to feel and look better. taking a bath with 2 cups borax 2lbs epsom and fish tank dechlorinator 1 capful per 50 gallons, will help this along soak 20 minutes minimum, if it turns out to be a mite adding 1% hydrogen peroxide will kill them retreat 2 to 3 x a week for 2 months or so. If you have had skin problems they will clear sometimes just by eliminating gluten from diet. Janet
