Dear Tejinder,

I used apple cider vinegar regularly before and during my last pregnancy with only positive results.

If you are hypothyroid, though, this can make it difficult to conceive and also would be a risk factor for miscarriage. Iodine is helpful for hypothyroid -

Also, regarding your high cholesterol, adding oatmeal for breakfast several days a week and carrots for a snack daily may be very helpful.

You use vinegar on a salad, right? I don't see why not when pregnant, but don't overdo anything--don't drink the whole bottle! It's probably more necessary for you--used to be, women craved pickles.

Thanks for the information Tennessee & Namaw. I have not started ACV yet, it was a simple query as I heard from few close friends that its good for weight loss and lower cholesterol as well.

My TSH is normal at present and major concern is to loss weight and lower cholesterol. I also have PCOS due to which its difficult to convince but my menstrual cycle is normal from past 7 months.

Would appreciate your comments and suggestions. Thanks in advance..

Dear Tejinder,

Apple Cider Vinegar and the Iodine protocol I mentioned have both helped people with PCOS. I think both would be worth researching and considering.
