IPK (Intractable Plantar Keratosis)

Has anyone found a cure? I've had mine for many years and it is so painful. Even when I'm not walking or standing it hurts & there's nothing I can do. The doctors just shave it down. I can do that myself & it still hurts.

kay,

One consideration :

Your doctor can have you use a chemical called Cantharone to completely remove the callus like material.

Ultimately surgically altering the metatarsal that has dropped would be needed if removal of the callus like material does not relieve the pain enough.
