What Can Help Imbalance of Ear Causing Dizziness?

Posted By Nazya (Uk) on 07/29/2015

Hi, I suffer from an imbalance of the ear which causes dizziness at the movement of my head, especially while I turn over sides while sleeping. It comes over at random times. Please can anyone shed any light on what causes this and if there's a way to prevent this or how best to manage this. Thanks

The Epley Maneuver may be helpful.

Some years ago I had an inner ear infection. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't move my head without feeling really dizzy. The dizziness went on for several years, and I saw several doctors and had various tests done. They could not offer any cure, so I tried alternative treatments, and they too did not work. And then someone mentioned Bowen treatment. I had one session with the therapist, stood up after the treatment and it was as though someone had punched me in the stomach it was that powerful. From then on I was cured. This type of therapy is worth a try. I know it worked for me.
