I have seen very good results using clay and apple cider vinegar. The clay is placed directly in the wound untill it drys the vinegar and the clay bring blood to heal the spot, and the drawing pulls the infection out. Do not scrub the wound just soak the part in warm water. Just add enough clay and vinegar to make a paste and apply. It may take up to a week to clear the wound. I have seen great results. Brenda

Well, I know clay can do great things as I have used it to heal a very stubborn chronic leg wound in 2013. Now I have another one as a result of a kitten scratching my leg. So I decided to try the vinegar and clay thing you suggest. Bad idea. Most awfully painful! Be warned you guys. It might be good but it hurts!

Which is really counter to what clay usually does. I found that regular clay and water was a wonderful and total pain reliever of the type of ulcer I had. I can't recommend that enough.
