I started the MSC last Friday- 5 days. (I have CFS, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Sjogrens Syndrom, Glaucoma, herniated disc, etc. - autoimmune disorders).
On this cleanse I have been experiencing: high blood pressure, horrible headaches, joint & bone pain, terrible flu-like symtoms, extremely lethargic. I feel like my CFS has erupted to the highest levels. I ate fish & vegies for dinner & feels so much better.
Would you consider this hexing? Last year I took a Valcyte for CFS to rid myself of viruses & the hexing was worse than the CFS.
I truly want to feel better & also eliminate some of my meds. What do you recommend?

Dear Toni, after reading your posting, and hearing yet another person experiencing troubles taking this mixture, I am feeling pushed to write and caution everyone who tries the Maple syrup, with anything remedy. I have a pituitary tumour, which grew so large it nearly severed my optic nerve, which would have blinded me. Before I found earth clinic, and Ted God bless him, I tried a few things I "researched" on the net. One of them was the Maple syrup with Bicarbonate of Soda. How I wish I had never done it. Tumours LOVE sugar! My Pituitary tumour absorbed at a phenomenal rate, all the syrup I fed it, and swelled up so much I nearly went blind overnight with the now huge tumour pressing against my optic nerve. I ran to an opticians, and told him I had gone blind. He discovered my tumour through simple optometry tests, on the spot! Five doctors in 5 years had dismissed my terrible symptoms and exhaustion and pain, without even giving me further tests. However that is another story.
Here I want to caution anyone about taking this terribly dangerous and counter productive measure. Find another way. There are so many wonderful people giving so much advice on this amazing site. Thank you all, for taking the time to help us help ourselves. Michelle
