Hi Joanne, luckily this is not a problem that I have got but I have a quick look in one of my books (Trick and Treat by Barry Groves). What he says is that by reducing the carbs you eat you might already feel a lot better. He mentions that wholemeal whet and bran products make the condition worse. Some experts actually came to the conclusion that the fact that people eat so much bran nowadays maybe actually have resulted in more people suffering form the illness. It exacerbates mild complaints. The same goes for diverticular disease.
As far as fruit goes it may also cause IBS and a study shows that between one third to half of the patients were actually fructose intolerant. Patients who complied with a fructose-restricted diet had a lot less complaints so..... It seems you can eat some fruit but not a lot! Once more please understand that I don't know anything about this illness, I am just quoting the book! If you would like me to have a look in my books for more information please let me know! I am sorry I couldn't give you better news..... But try cutting the carbs, maybe then you will be able to eat a bit more fruit!

If good food makes you sick.. Like fruit, do not blame the fruit.. You are full of poisons to handle those fruits right now.. Do not eat unless you are hungry. If your hungry all the time your full of poisons. Your body must get detoxify. If fruit makes you sick, maybe it pulling out the poison too fast.. So it less fruit. In several months you will be able to eat more fruit. Joanne.. If you could check out from the Library.. Book called "The Golden Seven Plus One by C. Samuel West. DN.. ND.. Page 131 35. 1..
