Breast microcalcification & fibroids:

Ted, I need help with my condition. A mammogram showed that I have microcalcification (deposits of calcium in the tissue) in my right breast. I was told that there is nothing I can do about it and that it may be the beginning of cancer. Is there anything you can suggest? In addition, I have several large fibroids (I'm 50) They don't give me much trouble but I can't seem to get rid of them. I have change my diet and try to keep my body ph balanced but nothing seem to be working. I hope there is something you can tell me. Please write back. Thank you.

EC: Some of our readers may have suggestions for you, but please write to Ted directly with your question since he rarely views Earth Clinic posts.

Two things you should look into. These have reversed and all but eliminated the very same problems my wife had.

1st is something called Nattokinease. It is fermented soy I believe and dissolves fibrous tissue in the breast and uterus. This has helped a great deal as my wife had fibroids in her uterus and was starting to bleed all the time. She has dealt with this for the last few years and now her bleeding had improved by 90%.

2nd is look into iodine deficiency. I won't go into a bunch about it but virtually all of us don't get enough. We DO get enough to keep from developing goiter but not NEAR enough to maintain great health. Iodine is used by every cell in the body. The thyroid uses the most and then the breasts and uterus. In men the prostate. Google both things and see what you come up with. We have both started the iodine and feel great. Her breasts are softer and cysts I have under for years under my skin are going away. Hope this helps!!!
