I have very small blood clot in mouth

I've had a very small blood clot, dk brown-black in color, on the left side of my mouth's mucous membrane, where my canines meet. It's been there for many, many, many years. One dentist wanted to remove it, and other dentists don't bother me if I tell them that it hasn't changed in size nor is it painful.

BUT, on occasion when I'm eating I accidentally have bitten down on it causing a bit of discomfort or pain.

What kind of remedies would affect it, make it disappear or lessen? I'd rather try to dissolve it without any kind of incision or surgical removal done.

I thought it would disappear over the years, but maybe because it's just underneath the surface of the membrane that it has stayed the same.

Here is what I do: drink 20 drops of Tabasco in 4 oz or so of water. At night - gargle with half of a glass of water as hot as I can stand it, next day gargle with Tabasco recipe and spit out, that night gargle with hot water again. I do this for about 3 or 4 days. I drink Tabasco recipe twice per month or when needed. It's like a rotor rooter - cleans your mouth, body and spirit! Good Luck!

I had the same thing years ago. I sterilized a needle, and gently inserted the tip at an angle (so that you're not actually poking, but rather, pulling a small piece of its membrane off).

It bled itself empty. I rinsed with salt water afterwards, and I haven't seen it since! :)
