I have hepatitis b and am worried about how to treat it

Hi! I'm Sherwin from Philippines, 17 years old and diagnosed with HEP B. It was just detected when I had a medical exam this year, July. I don't know where I got it. I see a doctor and have these results

Hep b ultrasound - normal ultrasound of liver and gallbladder

  • AST- 40 IU/L
  • ALT- 53 IU/L

and I am under observation and the tests will be done next year in january, the hep b profile. My question, am I very prone to have a liver damage because I have a high viral load? Can I recover from Hep B? Im worrying about my situation. The doctor recomended me not to take any supplement.

I had hep b with a liver biopsy which was awful. I lost 1/2 of my liver. The doctor told me to suck on hard candy for 2 to 3 months after that time I had another biopsy liver was once again whole. Doctor told me to keep sucking hard candy on and off for a year. That was 41 years ago.

Did you consume "Licorice Candy" or exactly what kind, to be certain, as there are hundreds of different candies and all of which could not be an effective remedy for hep-b??

Sugar is also very depressing for the immune system, so here is another problem w/ the "candy" remedy.

Please be more specific in your testimony.

Hep b got over it 41 yrs ago with Horehound drops and round candy cane drops.. there was not a lot of hard candies to choose from. I sucked it slowly maybe 6 a day and continued to do so for 3 months and beyond. Sorry I cannot be more specific.
