To remedy begin with 1/2 spoon milled flaxseed 2 daily, and 500 mg Vit-C before and after sex. Garlic is a good start for antibiotic AND detoxifier. There's also some good Homeopathic detox formulas that could help particularly when you suffer most.
Hope this helps and report any changes.

(Rarely do I need slight maintance and then I irrigate my sinuses with Apple Cider Vinegar in warm water when needed)
Actually my sinuses are not bothering me anymore! I love it!
1. I started using a drop of Apple Cider Vinegar in a neti pot and rinsed my sinuses with the warm water and it helped me tremendously!
2. I increased the Apple Cider Vinegar to 2 drops in the neti pot. This works for me even better!
(I have had no irritation or redness in my sinuses for using this)
3. ALSO--I started using "Good Bacteria Culture drinks" like you buy in the yogurt section of the super market. Such as Yakult, there is another less expensive brand in California.
I read that if your GUT FLORA needs good bacteria allergies can occur! I am also going to start taking a probotic capsules soon and acidophilus.
I am going to buy Kefir grains in order to make my own healthy yogurt smoothies. There is video on Utube on this!

Before I suffered from sinusitis for 11 years this never happened to me with the cold. I'm hoping this goes away with time. And I get back to normal.
But it is not the horrible mucus of sinisitis where this thick painful pus-type mucus drips down my sinus, throat and chest, with that horrible strange feeling I used to get. It is simply mucus.
When it is cold wear a hat or keep your room warm with heating. Try not to go to bed in a cold room or allow your head to get cold.
