Have Both Hypothyroidism and Hyperthyroidism Symptoms, Seeking Explanation

Posted By Michele (Los Angeles, California) on 06/03/2023

I am very sensitive to cold: at night, I need warm clothes, multiple blankets below me and above me. This indicates Hypothyroidism.

My TSH level is 0.94 mcIU/mL, indicating Hyperthyroidism.

Do you see an explanation there?

Michele,

It might be a mistake to assume that your feeling of coldness is caused by hypothyroidism as there are other reasons for feeling cold such as anemia, fibromyalgia, or anorexia to name a few.
