Dear Pam,

Many have found turmeric to be effective. 1 teaspoon 3 - 4 times a day. Best in some whole milk with a little black pepper. (Not best by taste, but the fat and the pepper help it to work much better.) If constipation is an issue, be sure to have him drink lots of water, eat salads and fruit, etc.

Tea tree essential oil and frankincense essential oil are both good to use topically. when I have used them I have diluted them a bit in some olive oil or coconut oil. (1 part tea tree, 1 part frankincense (use just tea tree if that is all you can find.) I use this 3-4 times a day.

I did the above for what appeared to be cellulitis on a family member. I also used charcoal poultices on the site for a couple of hours a couple of times a day. It took some time but worked for us.

I hope he is healed and able to come home soon!

Turmeric works for me every time I get bit by a yellow fly. The cellulitis infection can take 4 days before it starts to go down but then it quickly vanishes away. I usually take 1 heaping teaspoon two to three times per day mixed in water. Thank you for sharing this wonderful natural remedy.
