How to warm up in air conditioned room

Posted By Ali (Tutong, Brunei) on 09/03/2013

I feel cold always especially morning. I cannot stand air-con rooms but I have to work in one. I love to exercise and do hard work but can't because I feel weak, tired and dizzy. What can I eat to improve myself against feeling cold. Help

Dear Ali,

I have a couple of initial thoughts... One is that if you are not getting enough fat, you will feel cold. Some people avoid fat because they are worried about gaining weight (or trying to lose weight) but some fat is needed... Not sure if this fits you... But Coconut Oil does not make you fat and having a couple of Tablespoons a day may warm you up!

Cayenne Pepper is also excellent to warm you up. 1/2 teaspoon in some grape juice is one way. You could have this a few times a day.

Blackstrap molasses - 1 T. a day may help with energy and getting in some extra nutrients.

Hopefully others here will have some ideas for you!
