How can we use papaya leaves to increase platelets count for a cml patient? The treatment is running from Tata hospital, Mumbai, India. Hydra-500 medicine is running from 1 month.

Sanjay, the way someone I know took it was simply making it into an infusion, a tea. They didn't boil the leaves, just poured boiling water over them, but maybe boiling is better, I don't know.

Hi Sanjay,

Mmsg. is right, Papaya leaf infusion will help in increasing the platelet. Boil the papaya leaves and give that water to the patient and the doctors do allow this to be given to the patient. Asparagus soup also helps and some doctors know about it and they don't mind. You can start both the things or which ever you can get easily.

Good luck
