I am so sorry to hear that you both have this horrible man made thing. Yes apparently Morgellons is Infectious. The only thing I can do is recommend this website, they have been on this for a long time. You will find loads of info here and will no doubt find links through them for treatment options also.

Wash your and your husbands clothes seperate from the childrens. I do my sons clothes after I bleach towels. Also makes sure you try to get up as much of the hairs/poofy fungus things! I swear it does help. Consider treatiing as fungus... Diet, probiotic's ect. I do Saunas IT HELPS! Not 100% but I don't have lesions anymore:) Good luck and god bless... Also try and be careful your fear/stress makes it worse, and for the kids too. I try to imagine my sons immune system very healthy & strong. Give lots of love to each other!!! Look online for various machines capable of reproducing negative ions, thundershower effect, or static electricity. These may help. (Pyrogen - a name?)
Lypospheric Vit- C a big help! Essiac tea. Olive leaf extract. Clove, wormwood, black walnut hulls tincture. [citrus pectin]. No sugar, bread, pasta... Low carb. Wheatgrass juice. Seabuckthorn. Kukui nut oil and seabuckthorn oil on skin, with a little Coconut oil. Coconut oil capsules. Immutol, or other Beta Glucans.

i wish I were dead. I cant live with morgellons any more. I have no more money to throw after cures that dont work. I have sores all over my body and itch constantly, cant sleep cuz of it. You are NOT alone in this, not that that is a consolation. I have decided that since, so far, I can't get rid of this, I will keep on keeping on, w/o sleep, w/ the sores on my face/body, the squirrely movements, gooey eyes, painful eardrums, and stop telling people about it cause it makes me look crazy. Now that "it" has penetrated scalp and moving toward my brain, causes nervous twitch.. Wonder when it will cause irreversable damage... I will not let it win. I want to live to be here for my adult children as long as I can. Unlucky for both of us, I have a close friend w/ this to commiserate with, even if she likes to keep her distance! Quantity of life, since diminished quality. Can u find someone online to chat w/ that has this also? There is a famous MD that treats bacteria with a device she invented called a zapper. There are many testimones that she has been very successful with her treatments. The sores on my(started) scalp, legs once around back my neck like I was wearing a cheap necklace! Can't use any comb because I have SO MANY sores it brings me to tears (realizing no medical acknowledgement thus trials for cure have been established) yes I am a picker ...have lanced, tweezed, and SEE THE COLORED FIBERS ON THE PIECES of my scalp as it seems to peel.Have pulled green black blue fibers from my FACE! Dare ANYONE TO TAKE THIS TEST...Blacklight(I(sold as flashlights or bulbs) and a magnifying glass on their skin, hair...I GUARANTEE THEY WILL SEE THE GREEN BLUE RED WHITE OR BLACK FIBERS!!!! I still cannot breathe well after reading about your kids. It is one year that I am battling with Morgellons, and I have used so many medications and herbs that I cannot really tell which one was more helpful, though I believe my lesions were healed mainly with Colloidal silver, internally and externally, Cedarwood + coconut oil 15 min before shower and high doses of vitamin C, and (applying apple cider vinegar daily with a cloth all over my body), and potassium iodide. The lesions were gone after two months, of course I caught it super early so I did not have a full blow. Though this damn crawling came back. I used MMS, okay but I could not hold it and I used to vomit so I did it only at night, and then because of my kidney I stopped.
Now I did more searching and found out that the main two keys for the battle with Morgellons are making the body alkaline as well as addressing (biofilm). Educate yourself on what breaks biofilm. Also, I found the following research helpful which is again indirectly about biofilm. This is research about growth inhibition of Morgellons by Carnicum Institute investigating ascorbic acid, glycerol, and sodium citrate.
Thus
1- Break the biofilm and prevent it from forming
2- Make their environment alkaline which kills them
3- Detox to kick the dead ones them out of the body
