How Can I Unblock a Tube that May Have Been Damaged in Surgery?

Posted By Gloria (Massachussets) on 02/23/2016

I have one tubal block and one patent tube. I learned today that I have a proximal tubal block on my remaining tube. I was pregnant 4 months ago and I miscarried at 9 weeks. I had an medical extraction in December 2015 and I was not given antibiotics. Could this extraction have caused the proximal tubal block and what can I take to unblock my tube?

Dear Gloria,

I think the two best remedies for unblocking tubes are Vitamin C and castor oil packs. Vitamin C will help your body fight infection. Castor oil is good for infection and for reducing inflammation and scar tissue.

I would try taking 1,000 mg of Vitamin C 3-4 times a day, unless it bothers your digestion. You may even be able to increase the dose to 6-8 times a day.

You can use castor oil packs on your lower abdomen, over the area of the tubes at night 4 nights a week (just not during your period.) I would do that for at least a month.

I am sorry about your miscarriageI I hope these remedies will help you and you will be able to conceive again soon!
