How can i cure water stuck in ear for over a week

Ear Issue/Fluid Question: I have water trapped in my ear, and it's been more than a week - this has never happened to me before. There is some discomfort, but no real pain. The discomfort seems to be localised behind the ear, at the top of the jawline. Any ideas as to how to release the fluid would be most welcome. (I've done the oil, garlic route, but they haven't worked). Thanks, and would sincerely appreciate help.

H2O2 (3%):

Hi - My son suffers from this every once in a while. What we found to be the best remedy is pouring a couple of drops of H2O2 into one ear, lay on the side with the ear facing up, letting it soak for 5-10 min., then flipping over and doing the other ear. After the second ear is soaked for 5-10 min. flip over and make sure to get the stuff to drain out. We usually does this two times each day and it resolves within 1-2 days.

Good luck
