Help with white flying parasitesPosted By Hoping (Des Plaines, Illinois) on 01/06/2013
These creatures live a long time and get bigger like a piece of white tread with ending tail (that look like a small fly and when are older they look grey when they fly because of fewer filaments) and they are not like the ones that burrow in the skin (hope not). On the filaments (that they use to fly and they loose) they have round things attached (I believe are eggs). I did not even know that mites existed and will explain the sequence of what I did. I bought a pair of pants (I bought shirts for work before in this store and there were no problems), put them on the back seat of the car. A couple of days later tried them and felt a crawling on my body, thinking it was some chemical used to dry clean them, I put them with other pants. Beware when you seat in the doctors office, they can be in the seat (I felt them also in a store that sells a zillion of things). The car, the couches, the bed and everywhere had this crawling sensation when getting on it. We trashed the couches and everything that possibly harbor them. Covered the mattresses and box springs and after, trashed them too. In doing so I was very efficient in putting the main source out, but where they were waiting to be moved at garbage day pickup, they spread everywhere and just going outside they get on you. From the car they got in the garage too. I kept the car in the driveway, spray it with all the things imaginable (yes even bleach), strip the seats and also used a heater inside when outside was over 100 F. Even now after few nights below 28 F, when driving I still get some on me (no use changing the car they will get back from the outside and from me). They move very fast and seemingly communicate (when something is done in one spot others are felt moving in other spots). I sprayed around the home (cut the bushes and branches) so they would move away from the home, put mothballs in the outside basement windows and between the upstairs sliding windows panes. Put anything to be saved in boxes with mothballs and stored them in the shed. Right now there are 10 mug warmers in the home (I made cups of aluminum foil a little smaller then the warmer (I used a plastic cap 3 and 1/4", cut it 2" hight and then folded the edges a little, because they leak when the menthol melts), 4 in the basement and 6 upstairs (2 in living room 1 in each room and 1 that I move among closets) into where I put a teaspoon of menthol crystals 3 or 4 times a day (it is more of a week now). Hopefully (God willing) it will get rid of them inside and winter out side.
We wash our clothes morning (used at night) and evening (used the daytime), adding borax and ammonia to everything else and 1/2 dropper of eucalyptus oil (the eucalyptus was added since this trouble started and 4 months ago (maybe more) I started spraying the furnace filter every time I had a chance (that's at least a bottle a day), but I do not know if it helped. The problem is the wall between the garage and the living room, and the attic. I considered also to use air cleaners and I did not know enough to make a decision. I am also considering to do something with sulphur powder (was planning to get some because I have grape vines in the yard).
The main reason why I wrote this (also to get advice) is that in this world (especially USA) there should not be people that get in this situation and are treated ignorantly by the medical sector, by thinking something is wrong with their mind. Doctors, dermatologist, et-cetera, should tell them that they do not know and tell them that these thing exist, (the ones that know they exist and do not tell, will have to answer at judgement) so they do not lose their minds. The hardest thing is how to rid them from your body; (prescriptions work one night and then not prescribed anymore) because otherwise nothing can be done.
Right now we sleep on a queen rubber air inflated mattress, made a girt around it (included a piece of elastic) and girded it underside under the mattress just about at the chest position so the covers and linen stay put when tug in it. This way when needed are easily washables, I spray the linens and under them every morning (so they dry before bedtime) with enzymes mixed with water 1 to 7 ratio. We keep the temperature at 65 F (in summer we hardly could keep it at 70 F) and these creatures right away go where is warm and moist. It was a nightmare (all the time I was going in the garage to vacuum them from between my legs (the vacuum cleaner out the door (no filter) and also spry my clothes and myself with things that should not be used)). Now after reading about (I believe the name of this person is Toni) (also thanks to a site where we learned about menthol crystals) we use a mixture equally of mustard flower and water, a little (less then 5%) body glycerin and sometimes (around 5%) little of H2O2 (peroxide) or ACV, (because it seems more effective) (stay away from the eyes and wash your fingers before rubbing them).
We shower every other day to keep the moisture low, rub our body with a small towel first and then finish using soap (so if they fly back the suds keep them from flying and hopefully go in the drain). In the morning and evening after we put our close in the washing machine we spread the mixture all over our body. In my case in order to save them self, some go where we can't say and I add some more mustard mixture or try getting rid of them with tape. I realized (because is a couple days that I did not feel any landing on me), that the ones I am feeling are the mild (I always felt 2 kinds and did think that the mild were just hatched (it could be) and realized that they may be coming from inside of me or just barely inside me). It is a couple of weeks that we ingest a clove of garlic after supper (a friend of mine was doing it every day to lower blood pressure and my wife did it too for a while). So 2 days ago started also to insert a clove of garlic like a suppository twice a day. I do not know if this will work (these things get use to anything) in the morning I wake up at 5, 30 (usually twice more before) and I feel also better, so I will continue. When I felt one where I put garlic as a suppository and even after a rubbing gel (with menthol I had to use tape to remove it.
The dilemma now is; will garlic finish them? Are these the eggs of the withe parasites hatching or are these something else? I feel some lending on me (i opened the garage doors so the cold air cools garage and attic) they must be coming from outside. 2 days ago did not fill any getting on me, but the ones I fill I still do not know where they came from (the mild ones). We are going to stop the mustard and try spraying ourselfes with enzimes because my wife get burns more than I do.I hope this help somebody to have hope and not loose their mind. If somebody has suggestions, thank you kindly.

Also, you may try putting a tsp lemon and a tsp. dish soap in a white plate of water. At night, set it where the light will reflect off of it in different rooms. Bugs love the reflection and will fly into the water.
You can use it in the daytime too. I put a water plate out one morning and it was filled with flies and mosquitoes by that afternoon.
