Help Requested for Mystery Skin Disease

Posted By Chris (Las Vegas, Nevada) on 09/14/2015

Hi, I have been plagued with impetigo-like symptoms for 20 years now. Been to every clinic (mayo, John's Hopkins). Been on every antibiotic. Nothing fixes me. I am at the point now where I'm about to lose my career and family over it because I can't handle going to work anymore looking like an oozing sore in a suit. I've ravaged the internet, but found no answers anywhere. It's hard to even find anyone who has what I have.

Symptoms- skin gets red. Whitehead rises. Weeps yellow goo that has to crust over into a little mound. Over 2-3 days it diminishes and disappears like it never happened.

It only happens on my face, mostly in the T-zone. I get it in my eyelids when I look at cell phones or make prolonged eye contact.

I'm completely able-bodied, yet I spend my life sitting in a dark room listening to audiobooks. Can't play with my kids much. I've cut sugar, wheat and dairy out of my diet. I take probiotics. I've shelled out $2000 to a naturopath just within the last three months.

What else can you do besides just lose your mind and go live on the street? Any advice is not only appreciated, but I'm at the point where it might actually save a life.

Thank you.

Have you done a parasite cleanse?? I highly suggest this. It just might help you. There are many different cleanse to try. 10 days, 30 days, 60 days. Parasites are under your skin, inside your body, in your blood stream, and in your organs. I did a 10-day cleanse which I purchased online and just finished doing it a second time. The benefits are amazing you your skin will never look so good. It actually looks like a parasite under your skin creating the secretions. Good luck!!!

Try applying turmeric mixed with coconut oil and see a homoeopath.

Dear Chris,

The first think I would try would be turmeric and vitamin C, both internally.

One way to take the turmeric by putting a teaspoon in a mug of warm milk. We use turmeric capsules that we make ourselves. When we are using capsules for infections (this looks like an infection), we use 4 capsules (about 1 teaspoon) 3 times a day. But you can start with less and increase to more. Some find just a half a teaspoon to work, taken once a day. Turmeric is reported to cause constipation if not taken with enough water. So always take with plenty of liquid. I love turmeric. It is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral. It is a blood purifier and anti-inflammatory. It really covers all the bases and is a "go to" in my house daily!

I would take at least 1,000 mg of Vitamin C a couple of times a day.

If you have been on "every antibiotic" it is likely that you have an overgrowth of fungus in your body, which could cause these symptoms. It may be beyond probiotics, but not beyond help. Look up Bill's Anti-candida protocol here at Earth Clinic.

A cup of Epsom Salts in a warm bath each night will supply your body with magnesium, help your body to detox, and relax you.

Don't give up. There are so many great stories of healing on Earth Clinic. Read them and learn from them and be encouraged! There is always something else to try and learn. I have great hope that there is an answer to your problem. I look forward to hearing your success story.

Hi Chris,

You can't lose heart like this. This time will also pass and you will be alright. Have you tried Turmeric, kindly try to take half a tea spoon three times a day. This may cause a little constipation so you have to drink some extra water. This will help in purifying the blood, also if possible try food grade Hydrogen per oxide/ Colloidal silver, they do kill the bacteria/virus the root cause of this problem.

Good luck, Baldev

Chris - Take a cotton ball soaked with your own mid-stream urine and apply to your whole face morning and night. Let it dry on your face. If you have to, you can rinse it off with plain water after about 10 minutes, but it's best to just let it dry on your skin. Follow up with a light layer of organic, extra virgin coconut oil. Don't use any other products on your face, just stick to warm water to cleanse, mid-stream urine until dry, then oil. Your own urine is probably the best remedy for skin problems, and can be used daily long-term with no side effects. I cleared up an 8 months long bout with perioral dermatitis in less than a week using this method. Since your diet is clean, you might also benefit by ingesting your urine (read up on urine therapy), but the topical route is a great place to start. Best of luck to you, and please keep us updated!!

Chris,

Our family have struggled with so many skin issues. If you are off of grains that is first.

Second successful thing was using only coconut oil or grassfed butter. Which means no fast food but I am going through the system we used for all 6 of us and different issues.

Third is effective killing of pathogens, bacteria, fungus, or possibly a virus. First I use plain hydrogen peroxide to clean my skin I add a cup to my bath and foot soaks, to wash you can dilute it but I don't. Some use apple cider vinegar, I do not find this as effective. I soak any razors tweezers scissors I use in plain alcohol I keep them in a jar in bathroom soaking when I am not using them.[ not the scissors ] I soak my feet or bathe as much as I can.

My bath recipe is. 2-3 cups of epsom, 2 cups of 20 Mule Team Borax, 1 cup of peroxide and 1 or 2 caps of fish tank dechlorinator (sodium thiosulfate) or sometimes called conditioner but make sure it has dechlorinating as a part of it's action.

Here is the part that makes folks gasp, but it kills fungus mold and other awful stuff, 1 or 2 cups of white ammonia, if it is stirred in it won't hurt anything and will improve your condition.

In a glass jar I keep 1/4 tsp sea salt and 1 oz of ammonia and 4oz of water to dab on trouble spots.

If you look on bottles of lotions soaps skin and hair care products you will see some form of urea which is ammonia.

For foot soaks it is 1/2 the ingredients. I had this stuff on my face so bad I could not go to kids events, stores or church. Children would point at me and ask their moms what was wrong with me. You can test this before using. Milk of Magnesia mixed in some grape seed oil in a jar, applied to skin overnight kills pathogens also.

These remedies were cobbled together from Ted's remedies here on EC.

Janet

HI U CHRIS, , , , , , , , , , , , , , I really don't have a clue about your problem specifically, but I can tell you that you need to cleanse your body from asshole to appetite. Buy Hulda Clark's book and do all her cleanses by the numbers. I think you will see a difference. She has a program and you need to follow her recipe. You have toxins that you need to shed. Do Saunas and sweat them out. I have a number of thing you can do. Begin with Hulda Clark's program.

I wish you well.

I sincerely appreciate all of your advice. You are really playing a role in saving a life and an entire family. I have tried things like drinking diatamaceous earth and applying borax to my face. I've tried ACV internally and externally along with turmeric. I know that my skin gets very bad when I do these things- like a total war zone on my face with red splotches everywhere. I don't know if I need to seriously take a month off work and do nothing but try to purge my system. I'm really at the point where I might have to surrender my career if I can't get my skin under order.

I think the answer is in earth clinic. I really don't know of any other way than taking time off work to try these remedies. I'm not trying to be too emotional here, but I desperately want to get my eyelids back. Even today, I have three styes just from going to work and using the computer. My life is a spiraling madness.

Has anyone else ever had stuff like this? Where the skin oozes clear fluid that builds up into yellow crust? It's not contagious and I don't know if it really is impetigo or something that just 'looks' like impetigo. Had it almost every week for 20 years though.

Hi Chris,

If this were me, I would try lugol's iodine. This remedy that cured a very tricky skin condition I had for 30 years -- topical application of lugol's iodine. I tried it after reading a post about it in the eczema section on Earth Clinic. I doused a q-tip in 3% lugol's iodine and held it to the dermatitis areas on my face for at least a minute in each spot. I did not wash it off but left the iodine on all night. It burned like the dickens while I was pressing it to my skin, but by morning it started to look better. I did this every night for 2 weeks. It disappeared after a few days and now 18 months have passed and the itchy dermatitis has not returned AT ALL. It was a remarkable cure. Hope this helps.

Hi Chris,

I agree with some users that this is something that needs to be addressed internally.

Have you ever ingested food grade H202, or tried anti parasitic herbs and essential oils?-clove, oregano, black walnut hull etc?

I have used a product called "Fresh Green Black Walnut Wormwood Complex" and always see results---less bloat, clearer skin, I digest food better. Have you ever tried colonics or enemas? If you haven't, I highly suggest you try this in addition to whatever else you are doing.

Coffee enemas and ACV enemas have proved very effective for me.

In addition I would do whatever you can to boost your immune system. Vit C, Super Lysine, Garlic, vit D.

I don't think what you have is acne related, but I know that when I added rosehip oil to my skincare regime, my skin greatly improved. This oil is cheap and safe enough to put all over your face/eyelids.

I encourage you to read reviews on amazon and the like about these things.. there is a cure for you!

The original poster mentioned having tried borax and it made things worse. I wish to caution, the application of borax must be faint, very slight. Too much will irritate sensitive skin. A tiny amount is all that is necessary -- just enough to produce a slippery feeling, say, when rubbed-up with water between the palms.

I originally thought a mite could be causal; however, when you wrote that borax failed, my hunch went towards something lacking in the diet, such as a vitamin or mineral deficiency. Have you perhaps tried taking a daily B-complex? Do you get enough sun? Lack of vitamin A, magnesium and zinc could all be culprits towards flaring skin-eruptions.

I've been seeing a naturopath for a few months now, and the vitamins and everything else are all in order. He even upped my Vitamin D intake. I have tried things like black walnut hull tincture, borax, etc.

I really think what I am facing is demodex mites. Not the mites themselves, of course, but my body overreacting to the bacteria left after their decay. This is why yellow crusts keep forming all over my face- because my body is trying to build scabs to heal where it senses the bacteria.

This explains why ingesting tumeric, yogurt, lemons, etc. makes my skin a lot worse. I think its creating more die-off. So, if my skin is getting bad due to die off, I don't know really what to do. You can't kill the mites once and for all. They always come back. So I'm at a bit of an impasse. I'm going to take these things up with my naturopath. The good thing is that I'm finding out more and more people suffer with this problem. There are people out there who have really great ideas. It's going to take a long time for me to find my way out, but I accept that. And I hope I can use my eyes again and again enjoy just going out into public with my family.

Thank you for your help and any further advice you have to give.

I believe I KNOW what your mystery skin problem is. Hopefully this time it will finally post and let me help you. You don't mention having used any corticosteroids, but odds are that you have used them considering everything you do mention that you have tried. What you're going through sounds very similar to what I am going through and what others have gone through who have used corticosteroids, even if the usage was only for a short period of time, whether it was topically, orally, or by any other means. The redness, oozing, yellow crusting - these are all standard reactions to corticosteroids. Do a search for 'international topical steroid awareness network'. There is a site that ends in (dot)org, that would be a big help to you. They have a forum. There are no known herbs or protocols other than to stop using corticosteroids and wait it out as your body heals itself. You can connect with others there. Good luck!

Trust me, I wish it was that simple. I haven't used anything on my face except jojoba oil and I've gone back to using Cerave skin cream. I wash with a non-foaming Cerave cleanser, but I've tried dozens and dozens of different things over the years. No matter what I do, no matter how strict I make my diet- the yellow lesions return. Two decades like this.

Worth a shot for you try NIACIN B3.

Chose an area say the face and add to something you like to use topically for relief.

I use flushing kind, 500mg capsules crack it open and tip on a moisturiser and mix together and apply to my skin ailments. It's job is to cause flushing (redness like sunburn) heat, oxygenation, and soothes blotchy redness.

Please try it.

If I take niacin internally, I take loads of herbal sleep pills/ melatonin to make me sleep through the niacin flush as it makes me feel like I'm dying lol.... I feel sunburnt so prefer to sleep through it, but wow the skin effects! Mind blowing.

500mg once drowse. Join niacin b3 on fb.

Also could help is 100% plant based diet! No dairy!!! Or animal products.

Hope this helps
