Help Requested for Complex Breast Fibroadenoma

Giant Complex Breast Fibroadenoma:

I am 45 and have had a long history of cyclical breast pain (severely intense pain from just before ovulation through to menstruation, in my early 20s I had the pain the entire month and considered breast removal). I have had cysts and also a fibroadenoma for 27 years.

I have also had many other health issues resulting in debilitating fatigue (I've done genetic testing through 23 and me, been to genetic counsellor, naturopaths, conventional doctors, Chinese herbs and acupuncture, homeopaths several times over...)

I have taken iodine on and off, and painted it on for months on end to no avail. Last year, having exhausted all kinds of methods, supplements and therapy (and $), I used high doses of lugols (up to 150mg, though could be higher as the chemist said it is 12% for about 8 months), nascent iodine to begin with and at the end, and used lugols topically with DMSO sporadically.

2 years ago my fibroadenoma measured 5cm. Since beginning high doses of Lugols it enlarged. I wasn't worried because I had read that it can happen before it disperses. 2 months ago it was 11cm (4 1/2 inches)x 10 (4 inches) cm x 5cm (2 inches). Now much larger than that.

And I developed another in the left breast 2cm.

I have used castor oil packs for a couple of months, saunas a few times a week (now use the castor oil in the sauna), magnesium chloride baths, Japanese yam potato and ginger packs, Fucoidan, apple cider vinegar (2 - 4 tablespoons), Zeolite liquid drops and other supplements, and now have an infrared heat lamp. The lump is still growing, and is double the size of my other breast.

Ironically the breast pain is a bit better in the last month ..and I felt more energetic with iodine supplementation (I also have neutropenia that became 'severe' though it is just the fatigue that kills me. I am also on 180 mgs of Armour thyroid) but I have stopped all iodine supplementation as the fibroadenoma started growing when I started the lugols. I was using a natural hormone balancing cream but stopped that too. I felt better with that too, but feel that the lump is hormonally driven - both estrogen and progesterone.

I don't want to have surgery. I am also trying to get pregnant. But definitely not pregnant.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm swinging on the end of a fraying rope...

Hello,

i was wondering if you ever were able to get rid of your fibroadenoma?

I had issues with one that was huge and had it surgically removed only for it to come back. I don’t want another surgery. Hopefully you have some insight!

Hi Jennifer,

I didn't post the original message but I hope she managed to get rid of the fibroadenoma. I have them too and one recently grew while I was using Estriol cream (I'm post menopausal and these things are supposed to be gone now). I also used far/near infrared light which made one grow 3mm. This morning I researched DMSO and this caused more fibroadenomas to grow in rats so that might be what made the first ladies grow larger. I learnt some time ago that painting the vagina with Lugols Iodine sends the iodine directly to the ovaries where the hormones for the breasts are made. I've done this for some time and it stabilized the cysts but never eliminated them. I learnt that systemic enzymes (I take Mega-Zyme and was taking Seaprose-S but ran out, maybe that contributed to the increase in size). I will reintroduce Serrapeptase soon. The best thing I found was castor oil, painting it on the breasts at night. It's a bit messy but it works. Unfortunately I react to anything that increases nitric oxide, due to viruses, so I can't use this method but I read a lot of ladies eliminated them completely with castor oil.
