If you have never done any colon, parasite, or pathogen cleanses, then it will be imperative to do so as these can cause chronic digestive disorders. Treating the symptoms are currently only getting you thru the day and night. Look on either the "remedies" or "ailments" tabs here on E.C. for further info.

I take astaxanthin for my arthritis--without it I have to take pharma meds. I take lecithin/green tea extr/lysine/glycine/acv for my cholesterol. I take evening primrose oil for my hot flashes. I could 'survive' without them, but they DO make a difference, so I'd like to take them. I have had this since I had surgery to remove 1/2 of my lower intestine (due to eating gluten, I believe). The first 2-3 years I could not leave the house, I never could predict when I would have an attack. Then I found EC for an entirely different problem. Read Ted's remedy to take Apple Cider Vinegar with 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water, after an attack. I had relief right away. It stopped completely. Changed my life. Now I just drink 1 to 2x a day. I do not think about it anymore. I have my life back. I also take wormwood tincture every 2 or 3 mos. It removes any parasites that may be lurking (20 drops 1x a day for 3 days for three weeks in a row. God bless. Janet

I would use food grade diatomaceous earth for the IBS symptoms. Read up on it and start slowly. It will help tremendously with the runs.
