Have had sinus surgery but cant smell anything

Posted By Mohammed (Virginia, US) on 03/15/2015

Hi, I am 57 years old. I did have stronger sense of smell than any of my family members or friends. I used to complain a lot at even a little odor that most of others don't care. Sadly, over the period of last many years I became acute allergic and sinus sufferer which has turned to asthma. Eventually, I started to lose my smell sensation. I went through a surgery last year and removed excessive amount of polyps. I was delighted when I started to get sense of smell back. Currently, I can't smell anything. Is there any suggestion for me. I have the sense of taste; sweet, hot, sour with no smell. Is this treatable?
