Have chronic sinusitis and ear issues

Posted By Alison (Scotland) on 01/02/2015

Hi Ted

I appear to suffer from chronic sinusitis.

Have been prescribed the usual steroid sprays, antibiotics. (allergic to penicillin). Erythromycin, cefalaxin. Fine on Doxycyclin. (suffer from irritable bowl syndrome, some drugs upset that).

In October noticed dullness/fullness in both ears. Never had ear issues prior.

I have had blocked sinus on going since October, and constant post nasal drip, burning sensation in back of throat. ON and off feeling of blocked ears. Constant muccos. Have had nose bleeds, not sure if the nasal spray the cause as aware thins linning of nasal passages. Stopped using it, Few days ago. On occasions nose bleeds a little when blowing it.

Awaiting to go in to ENT, January. Feel I may respond better to more natural solutions. Have been in past years at ENT nothing required to be addressed.

Feel what normally should come down my nasal passages, appears to divert down throat. Nose congested I assume. Not sure! .

I have read that stress can cause issues. I wonder if my immuine system is depleted. Stress- Lost my Father a year ago, and partners health not too good.

Work in the care sector. People bring viral infections in to work environment. My sinus issues have been on going for years, last year noticed got a little worse, not much respite from it,

Ted, I appreciate your time and help. Thank you.
