But that's also where all heck broke loose from detoxing--miserable and constant hives. I am forced to take a benedryl at bedtime to sleep all night without hives. But they are back with a vengeance all morning and only subside by noon, and can return again at nighttime.
I am told that detoxing can take a year and more. In the meantime, is there any relief from hives caused by oxalate detoxing?

I too had hives some few weeks back, and there awful I did get rid of mine soaking in a bath containing ordinary malt vinegar. The following evening I used HP. Compresses of diluted vinegar relieved the itch, burn, cycle. That drive you almost crazy, due to lack of sleep. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Good Luck.Replied by Acv Lover (Dallas, Texas) on 09/04/2011
Hi Janet. Glad the Malt Vinegar worked for you. I just want to understand why I have hives every single morning and evening, even tho I've been low oxalate for more than two months now. Something else must be wrong. It's very frustrating.Replied by Ruben (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) on 10/31/2011
hi There
I'm having hives every morning for the last 3 weeks
I did some research and after 2 days 90% hives are gone.
1) Checked Body PH balance by testing urine, if acidic PH
If PH
Then you need to do the followoing to bring your balance to 7. 0 and hoping the hives will improve.
a) Take ACV 2tbsp and 1/4 tsp in 8oz/ 1 cup of warn water in the morning and night for 5-7 days.
b) Take Antacid Alkaline Salts 3 tablets in the morning and night. (pH Balance Pascoe)
You should see an improvement after 2 days.
In addition, I'm taking grape seeds 2 capsules in the morning and night instead reactine or benadryl.
Hope this helps..
Ruben
