Gum and Mouth Issues Post Root Canal
Gum and Mouth Issues Post Root CanalPosted By Cindy (Brooklyn, NY) on 05/28/2025
Hello,
I've been following some remedies from Earth Clinic and I hope they are helping. I had a terrible infection under an old root canal that had to get redone. I took amoxil about two months ago. It is now two months later and dentist did the post and crown and told me there is still some infection under the tooth. I know because I feel it: it feels heavy and sometimes painful. I've been taking CDS regularly, rinsing with DMSO+CDS nightly, baking soda rinses, and oil pulling once every few days. In the past few days I've been spitting out a pink filmy substance from my mouth every morning. There is more pink substance on the bottom around my gums and teeth than on top. I rinse with water and spit and pieces come out in the water. Anyone know what that is and what I can do about it? I don't see it throughout the day. Perhaps it's from leaving DMSO+CDS on my teeth overnight without rinsing? Any help would be appreciated. I hope it is not a more severe issue.
