Gout in left toe since sunday

Posted By Bigredtoe (Santa Maria, Ca, Usa) on 08/10/2011

I have had Gout in my left toe since Sunday. Last time I had this (2 years ago) it was gone within 3 days. I ate alot of cherries. The Cherries have done nothing for me this time. It is 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday evening and I am going to take a couple of teaspoons of apple cider vinegar with water. My wife just went to the store to get more baking soda. I'll have that later. I'll report on progress. I just took some ibuprofen so the pain is lessened, but today the pain began to be more than just the constant burning ache and intense pain. At times I would prefer to chew off my own foot than continue to suffer. Sometimes I swear that portion of my foot is going to explode. Today I got sharp shooting pains around the perimeter of the sore spot on the outside of my foot. The twinges of pain cause me to cringe and say unpolite things.

I need relief.

Bigredtoe. I sympathize. I've been there. What works quickly for me is Pantothenic Acid. (B5) You need to get tablets at least 500MG. I took it at night before bed, by itself. I had neighbor that mowed my lawn. The mother had gout so bad she was in a wheelchair most of the time. I sent son home with envelope with five tablets with instructions... Told her what it was, but to call a pharmacist and tell him what meds she was taking to be sure it was okay for her to take, because I'm not a doctor. Eight days later son showed up, in a panic, wanted to know what it was, the brand and where to get it, because it helped tremendously and pain was back since she ran out. She was on celebrex. She continued to take it, finally told her dr and he took her off the drug.

There was a man that came around and audited a few days each six months at place I worked. He had torn achilles tendon, surgery, drs tried three types of arthritis drugs, nothing worked. Wore a boot and was told he'd have to live with it. I told him same thing.. Take B5. Next six months when he showed up - no boot and no pain. He couldn't thank me enough.

It also helped take down swelling in my mother's foot when she broke a bone.
