Friend with blood clots around the heart

Posted By Karen (Canada) on 03/03/2014

Hi, I have a dear friend who has just recently found she has a blood clot near her heart. She has been precribed a blood thinner and has to take 5000 mg Vitamin D daily. Can anyone suggest a remedy for this. Are there any herbs or natural solutions to dissolve clots?

Please help, as this matter is urgent. Thanks to any reply.

Nattokinase is a natural clot buster with no side effects. Type in search box "+prioris+nattokinase" to find my posts on the subject in earth clinic.

Hi, try searching under Blood Clots in the Ailments Section on Earth Clinic for more detailed information (under questions and answers).

Vitamin E in small doses (100 IU [one hundred IU, VERY IMPORTANT YOU LOOK AT THE UNITS] ... THE *SMALLER* THE BETTER). I've had really good results taking one a day in areas as delicate as the brain and/or heart. Just be sure to consult with the doctor if Vitamin E is ok to take since your friend is on a blood thinner.

Hope that helps!

Unfortunately, for us Canadians, just last year (2013), Nattokinase was removed from the shelves in Canada by Health Canada. If you're looking for Nattokinase you'll have to go to or order from the U.S.
