Lisa, I'm 46 and just found out I have goiter thru ultrasound. I started taking iodine (Iodoral). How many tablets/day were you taking? What symptoms did you experience and how many months before it disappeared? My lab results came back okay and I've been referred to a surgeon for a biopsy. I must confess that I'm quite scared right now.
