I have a friend who has Aculopharengiel Muscular Dystrophy. I'm a massage therapist, and we do have 90 minutes per week of massage therapy for him, however we are looking into some natural remedies that might help slow the progression of the disease. Can anyone suggest or have you heard of anything that might help?

Look into Low Dose Naltrexone.. (there are user groups on the web) also a few interesting videos on youtube...It seems to be holding promise for many immune related diseases...MS, Crohn's etc. (it is patient driven since there is no profit to be made from the drug companies) not sure it would help but it is worth looking into..
