To note that these same episodes occurred to me about 4 years ago. At that time doctor had prescribed me metoprolol but after some time I decided to quit the medication and I felt ok. But now after all this time, they came back!!
I also did ecg last week, echocardiogram last year, ct scan angiogram last August, 24 hr halter monitor last year and all seems quite normal. Now doctor ordered me another 24 hr halter to see if I need to increase the metoprolol dose to 50 mg daily.

Hi George,
Recently when I was looking into MTM's recommendation for Motherwort, I noticed many articles that said that Motherwort combined with Hawthorne was an effective remedy for heart palpitations and high blood pressure, especially if they are brought on by anxiety. Here is just one article:

It has additional information on Motherwort if you click on that word in the first article that is italicized. It may be something you could look into. Best wishes!

Hi Rsw, The article seems really interesting. I found out that I can order Motherwort through internet, and there are capsules or drops. Definitely I am going to purchase it and try it out.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi George,
I think Mama said she liked the Motherwort tinctures, so that's what I bought. Mama is especially well read on herbal medicine, makes and uses many herbs for her family with good results, so I trust what she says. Many of the articles said the tinctures work quickly. Best wishes!
