I had lenses implanted in my eyes 10 months ago (better than being blind, you see). Anyway, my left eye has had a disturbance ever since. Not flashes or floaters (I have those, too). I don't know how to describe it, really. My dh thinks my eyes are picking up on the electrical cycles of the nearby flourescent lights--kind of like when your car headlights dim/brighten when the battery is going. The dr said it will resolve over time, but it's been 10 months already! Yes, I am glad I had the implant--it allows me to work, drive, function, but I really don't rely on dr's for much. I sure would love to get rid of this visual activity... I've been eating beets and taking antioxidants. What else should I try? I read on here where they used dmso in the eye--could I maybe just apply it to the surrounding skin?
