Effect of home remedies on blood clots

Posted By Dale (Kansas) on 11/12/2014

I have a question that has to do with the effect of the three home remedies for blood clots? The apple cider vinegar, black strap molasses, and cayenne . Are they in effect blood thinners or do they act as anticoagulants? I hear the medication warfarin refereed to as a thinner when it is a anticoagulant . I am a 61 year old male and remain fairly active yet by warning signs I am starting to experience DVT in my left leg. I am hesitant to seek medical attention and end up taking anticoagulants if when taking them you are likely to have problems clotting if you become injured.I believe our body is capable of repairing most in balances if we are allowed to know the proper natural ingredients. Our great pharmaceutical industry would rather we just took a pill and shut up and pay our bills. So if you could answer my question about the action of the three above mentioned remedies I will thank you in advance. "Have a great day and a better tomorrow."

To Dale in Kansas:

please note that a blood thinner is in effect the same...it is an anticoagulant. The term of thinner is used as a slang term for the same thing. What I am saying is that an anticoagulant slows the process down. First you have an antibody produced by the liver, second you have an anticoagulant that is prescribed to slow the process down of how FAST the antibody becomes a blood clot. The measuring tool for this is referred as INR. This number is a tool to gauge your amount of protection of the warfarin or Coumadin in your blood system. Your average number should be between a 2.0 and 3.0. Mine however is to be 3.0 to 3.2 per my doctor who knows of my thousands of blood clots presently in my venous system for protection until we can come up with a game plan to do a major bypass of the many veins I have mentioned on this site before. And yes like you I want to know the answer to how much of one of the natural things you mention should I take. I will have you an answer hopefully within the next 48 hours due to having a meter delivered to my home for me to check my numbers. With that information, I will be able to give you guidelines on how much of the molasses or pepper to ingest for proper protection. Please remember, my life is on the line here and I have to know asap to save my life. God bless you sir.

Dear Dale,

My husband got a blood clot two years ago. At the time he was 56, it was from cholesterol lowering drug. He stopped the meds (false medicine). We began researching, starting with an anti-aging regime, which helped some, but not enough. Then we found Earth Clinic. After much trial and error, started the lime, 1 whole lime squeezed, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 3x a day. It went down from the size of a baseball, to a small bump. the pain was reduced by 90% within 2 to 3 days. He also drank tart cherry juice, 3x a day, due to being a little gouty. After one week, pain was gone, he only missed one day of work. He works 7 days a week, 12 hours a day on cement. He has had weight loss surgery, 10 years ago. His ability to digest nutrients is very limited. Due to EC and Teds remedies he is in great shape and has lost 30 lbs. Weight loss surgery does not work in the long term. On the clot itself we used dmso, thin layer, then magnesium oil, epsom lotion, 2x a day. Or when it would get tender. His current regime is, BS+ lime 1 or 2x a day. Janet

ACV is generally regarded as a whole body tonic w/ emphasis on improved digestion, elimination, and metabolism. BSM is regarded as a blood builder and all-round superfood.

For keeping the blood from clotting a combination of herbs like Garlic, Cayenne, Hawthorn, Ginger, and Gingko Biloba would prove way more effective than one herb alone.
