Dystonic tremor of left hand fingers and abnormal posturing of hand:

The main problem are:

- pain and swelling especially during a muscle spasm/pulling sensation
- stiffness of hand and abnormal posturing- muscle wasting of Triceps and infrascapular muscles and trapezeus

It started with left shoulder pain, intermittent dystonic tremor in left hand of ring and little finger (in August 2016).
MRI of spine showed compression at C4-C5 and C5-C6 levels causing central canal narrowing. MRI of brain was done too.
Doctors thought it was CBDT. Right now he's taking these to alleviate the pain:

- Tremnil (Trihexyphenidyl)
- Gabapentine(300mg)1-0-1
- medrol (steroid)
- clonezepam

Please help!

Seek out cold laser treatments in your area for the compression at C4-C5 and C5-C6 and direct treatment of hands/fingers. Many chiropractors and some pain clinics offer cold laser treatments. Magnesium oil applied daily over the neck area and hands should be helpful as it's a natural muscle relaxer.

Roy, I know nothing about this ailment, but untily you can get more meaningful help, you might try Epsom Salts baths and/or mud baths with healing clay.
