Dreaded norovirus on rounds here

Posted By Victoria (Derbyshire, Uk) on 11/25/2009

Hi, the dreaded Norovirus is on its rounds pretty bad round here, i was wondering if there are any remedies for this.. I understand apple cider vinegar is good for killing a bacterial infection but i guess it wouldnt work on the Norovirus with it being viral and thriving in acidic conditions. Any help would be great thanks

I understand this post was put up on the 25/Nov./09 but there was only one response to it. So here is a second response to remedies needed.

BHT (butylated hydroxy toluene) is a food preservative the can be obtained through Vitamin Reaserch Products. It has been tested and is well know to kill all lipid coated viruses including the hep-c virus. As well it has been know to cure shingles and genital warts. I have been taking it for the 10 months now and I feel like I am 20 years younger. I have seen the attitude of some who would rather not believe and suffer. That is just crazy.

This is not correct! The norovirus is NOT lipid coated, so it can probably not be killed by BHT.

Hi Art from Vancouver, I am interested in BHT and was wondering if you could describe specifically what health benefits you feel you can attribute directly to your BHT supplementation? Did you start taking BHT for a specific health condition? How long after starting BHT supplementation did you start to notice any health benefits and what were they? Thank You. Art

Hi, The reason I started taking the BHT is because I have hep-c and was infected by a tattoo I got in 1975. I was diagnosed in 2002 and began the conventional treatment for 42 weeks in 2003. That is when I really got slammed and for the first few months my liver enzymes rose to a from3/Feb./03 Alt- 51 to 18Feb/03 to Atl- 327. I got pretty sick feeling like I had the flue and I began to itch all over. As well I went into a brain fog and my gums were receding and my breath was really bad. I was getting a lot of body aches, bad depression with thoughts of suicide. I was getting really obsessive and frustrated about little things. I did not mention it to my doctor because I was afraid they would stop the treatment. Then when I finished the treatment I asked my doctor how long it was going to take for these side effects to wear off, he mumbled 3 to 5 years. They told me that the treatment was 99% effective and that they got almost all the virus out. That was their way of telling me it failed and that I should eat healthy and carry on.

I then discovered Milk Thistle from this site and it help take away the fluish feeling but I looked really pale and sad. Then I discovered ACV for my aching hips and it took away the burning pain after sitting or trying to get into a low vehicle after about 3 months on it. I then noticed my depression was lifting as well. Now I had been taking Omega 3-6-9 but that wasn't doing much for the depression. So I struggled for the next 6 years or so sinking further into the couch and all the while my gums were getting more infected and sore. I live on a meager pension my reward for being born with Muscular Dystrophy and couldn't afford much.

I went to a dentist and she looked in my mouth and took her dental pick and was prodding around and measuring , meanwhile her assistant was out in the waiting room trying to talk my wife into getting me a root canal. Then the dentist put her pick into my inflamed gum and pulled back on it causing severe pain. I grabbed her wrist and told her what the hell are you trying to do, torture me. I got up and walked out. I pity my wife because she has been suffering with my bad attitude and depression for 7 years now. I found myself contemplating suicide again trying to think of a way to gently relieve my supporting wife from all this. All the long I was trying to get along in life doing odd chores but even that was overwhelming. I would sweat after vacuuming one room and I as a mechanic had to maintain the car. I got an infection in my prostate which I had to get a strong anti biotic for and the a year later diverticulitis for which another dose of anti biotic to the rescue. I had bad toe nail fungus as well.

Sorry to run on but that should pretty well describe my condition before I found out about the BHT. The funny thing is for the past 7 years periodically I would log on to earthclinic looking for some easy way to defeat this dam virus and never saw Oscar's postings until I cried out to God. I was looking under the remedies tab and stumbled onto BHT so out of curiosity I clicked on it and there was my answer.

You can follow it over here at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BHTcures/where Oscar done a lot of work to help us with dosage and drug interaction.

Now since starting to take this wonderful product I am 65 years old feeling like 40 years old. The pink eye I was getting every 3 months is now cured. No more gut pain and I can sleep in any position. My skin has become pinker again and my receding gums are healing and my breath has cleared up. My itching has almost gone, the brain fog has lifted, I feel more energy and stamina. I could not eat chicken because it would make me feel fluish in the early am. Now I can eat anything and food taste wonderful again. The swelling in my right foot has almost left and is not the problem it used to be. The toe nail fungus is now under control and I find that I heal faster again. I wake every morning with a riser and my wife is enjoying that. I still get slight pain in my right lobe depending on what I eat.

I am taking 350mg of BHT every second day in the early am. I have cut back to that from once a day because I feel over burdened with it. It is a bit of a challenge to find your right dosage and know what not to take while on it. For instance grapefruit juice and milk thistle will cause the BHT not to work, and if you have a damaged liver then L-Lysine is no good for you as it will become toxic to the liver. You have to listen to what your body tells you while taking it. My liver enzymes are dropping and are now at 79 AST and 29 GST. I found they rose a bit when I started taking the BHT but they are on the decline as posted.

My attitude has much improved and I am not as obsessive as I was. I started getting neuropathy before taking the BHT and have now got it under control with B12 and ALA. I thank God for earthclinic.com and for Oscar and Victoria over at yahoo cure site mentioned above. I hope this gives you a better understanding about my condition before the BHT and after I started taking it. Every day I feel like a new man. I may remember more and come back and post those elusive thoughts for your benefit as well.

Keep Well, Art.

It is great hearing from you Art, I want to thank you for this detailed report about your use of BHT to recover from hepatitis C and liver damage and the other conditions you disussed including neuropathy. The use of the BHT is different for many people. For some such as you these lower doses of BHT are the way to go. At this time we are advising no more than 350mg of BHT twice a day. And for many including you one dose of 350mg a day or every other day is best. People with badly damaged livers need to be taking the lower doses of BHT for best results. Thanks again for your detailed report....Oscar

Anyone else have their computer crash after clicking on the link on the original post? I should have known better, but thought EC checked out links before posting them? If not, such a strange coincidence that my computer froze. Just wondering.

EC: Hi, I did check the link before posting and it was fine and took me to a legitimate page. So perhaps, it was just a coincidence. On the other hand, after you've reported this, I will take it down to prevent any other occurrences. Sorry.
