Does anyone else suffer from endometriosis and nausea

Just wondering if anyone that suffers from Endo also suffers from constant nausea? My 16yr old daughter is in this situation has been so for the past 2 years. She also has fibromyalgia. Has anyone come across anything that may help her? thanks.

Tommydog I'm not sure how much help this will be, but I have noticed over the years that certain foods and food combinations can trigger the worst symptoms of my endo. The nauseau can come about when abdominal cramps are so bad the body doesn't know how to react and redirects the pain. It can also happen when estrogen is very very high. Red meat is the biggest culprit for me; also cured meat when consumed together with hard cheese. Eliminating those has helped a good deal, as all of those foods are very estrogenic. Tolerance for estrogenic foods can vary: for example I don't have as severe a problem with wheat as other posters have described. If you have your daughter try keeping a food diary you are bound to find out if there is a food trigger involved. In the meantime Red Clover tea can be very soothing in those situations, as well as a hot water bottle.

Over the years I developed nausea that continued to worsen into a nearly constant state. I did not consume soy products, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, or artificial sweeteners. For the most part, I ate natural and organic products, lean meats, non-fat dairy (cow), and little to no caffeine. I was never a big grain eater, but with time I became intolerant of dairy (I have had a severe sensitivity to milk fat since birth). Being a nurse, and having done a lot of research with other endometriosis sufferers, I knew gluten (a protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and occasionally oats) could worsen symptoms and if left untreated could cause one to develop a dairy insensitivity. Initially, I had to completely cut gluten and dairy out of my diet. I was amazed to find within a few days my nausea was gone. I also had relief from the constant "burrowing" feeling in my abdomen; and my endometriosis cramping was more tolerable. When I do experience nausea, usually secondary to pain and cramping, I suck on ginger (usually "Ginger Chews"). Within 3-4 months I was able to tolerate about a serving of dairy a day; I usually only have a few servings per week. Cutting out caffeine and artificial sweeteners can also help. Myself, and three of my friends with the same issue (endometriosis and constant nausea), all have a "gluten-sensitivity/intolerance;" and we have all had relief of nausea and varying degrees of endometriosis symptoms. It is very important to read labels, because gluten is found in many products (condiments, syrups, spices, etc.) and truly needs to be cut of the diet completely in order to have nausea and stomach cramping (non-cycle related) relief. It is possible to have constant nausea from a wheat intolerance (a red rash may also appear on the arms/trunk); but I would suggest cutting out all gluten for 2-4 months and then every 1-2 weeks try adding back in one grain (barley, rye, oats) and see if nausea/stomach cramping returns (usually this is 4-24 hours after consumption). My one friend has only a wheat allergy, but choice to remain gluten-free because it helps significantly relieve her endometriosis symptoms. Gluten sensitivity/intolerance is usually genetic; and now my brother, as well as my friend's mother, have been diagnosed. Some other conditions associated with gluten sensitivity are Celiac Disease and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).
