Dizziness and Anxiety After Having a Baby in 2021

Posted By ALFs (Virginia) on 01/26/2023

I had a baby in December 2021. About 4 months later, after my period returned, I started experiencing workplace anxiety because I felt so dizzy when I walked in the hallway. I felt like I was off balance and just a weird feeling in my body. I am thin, overall healthy and have severe dairy allergy. I had my hair sample tested through testyourintolerance and found some heavy metal issues (I have a lot of fillings due to a previous eating disorder) and also found that I was really deficient in potassium, magnesium and B1. I do drink a lot of water and herbal tea--my body weight in ounces each day. I eat a protein shake for breakfast, nuts for snack, homemade homegrown vegetable soup for lunch and usually a healthy type dinner--such as veggie pho or spaghetti with grass fed meat etc. I take a high potency multi, probiotic, ashwagandha, vitamin e sunflower sourced, 1600 mg vitamin C and L Acetyl Carnitine. The off balance feeling has gotten better but sometimes I still feel dizzy and like I need to focus on how I am walking especially at work. Is this anxiety? What are your thoughts?

I would focus on magnesium and potassium. When I have had this in the past, it's because I was deficient in one or the other. Magnesium L Threonate 2x capsules a day and 1 potassium tablet. Bananas don't always cut it with some potassium deficiencies.
